Where these numbers come from

Player counts come from the Fortnite Data API, the public data Epic Games shares about every discoverable island. We read the 13 genre leaderboards every hour and the players of each tracked map every 10 minutes, and we keep a daily history so the charts can go back further than the 7 days Epic keeps. Epic hides a number when fewer than 5 people played in the period.
